The Altar Guild is responsible for maintaining the altar area of the church. The members of the guild volunteer their time by setting up and taking down communion, decorating the church for Christmas and Easter, as well as changing the utensils on the altar, lectern, and pulpit by following the church year calendar. They also ensure that the linens and utensils used for communion are kept clean and presentable. The president of the guild is responsible for preparing the monthly duty schedule for the members and is also in charge of ordering wine, wafers, and cups as needed, and handling miscellaneous issues.
